Setting Strong Clear Intentions

Living an intentional life is the one single factor that has changed my life for the better.

In setting intentions we are able to take steps in the direction of our soul's desire.  And while I'd like to say that alot of the work is effortless....it isn't.  Yet I know that the effort involved is really inspired action and it's easy to take when you let your heart lead the way.

Before your heart can lead the way, you need to clear your head and your environment.  With the New Year upon us, it's the perfect time to detox and declutter your environment.  Once you've got a little bit of that done, then create space for your 2012 intention setting session.

This is what you will need to do to create strong clear intentions.

1- Find a space where you have about 30 minutes of uninterrupted time

2- Make yourself as comfortable as possible and ask yourself the following:

     What do I intend to create this year in my life?
      What do I intend to create this year in my practice?
     
3- Focus on the feeling you receive as you gently ask yourself these questions.

4 Record what comes to you in the following format:

    "I intend to create......."

5- Be as clear as possible.  Describe it in as much depth and detail as possible.  You might even consider creating a vision board.  Visions boards are your soul's way of planting seeds of hope for the future.

You can even create your vision board, take a picture and share it with us!
